STRATO and bdg jointly developed the concept for the implementation of a BI/CPM solution for controlling. Board was chosen as the software; the intuitive and user-friendly design of the application was particularly decisive, enabling it to be used as a self-service BI.
The project was to replace existing processes in which complex data sources and the manual preparation of data in Excel made planning and reporting extremely time-consuming tasks that were also frequently error-ridden.
The result: a flexible, transparent tool that enables self-service BI for data visualisation, analysis, reporting and planning. Data provision, which previously took a week, is now automated at the touch of a button. Planning can be easily displayed multi-dimensionally, for example to view the P&L by product lines, quarters, countries or individual companies. Thanks to the comprehensive user training provided by the bdg team, planning and reporting can even be further developed internally without the need for support from external consultants.
